The Board of Management and the principal appreciate the ongoing and invaluable support the Parents’ Association give to the school. They have give a worthwhile contribution to the school community. It is a structure through which parents work together for the best possible education for their children. The PTA works together with the principal, staff and BOM to build effective partnership between home and school.
Children do better and perform better at school when they are happier, when parents and teachers work together and support each other. Parents also benefit greatly when they are supported by other parents.
Fundraising events are also organised from time to time. However, being involved is not just about event planning or fundraising. The Parents’ Association also plays a vital role, through its interactions with school management, in contributing to the development of policies that impact the well-being and safety of all pupils. Being involved will enable you to gain an insight into your child’s school life and their learning.
