Scoil Bhréanainn boys and girls attended the Mini 7’s on Friday 10th March.

There was excitement in the school the day of mini 7’s. We hopped on the bus and headed for Renard. When we arrived, we headed into the dressing room to get ready. Finally we were ready to head out to the field. The first match was for the girls against Aghatubrid, they were very strong but the final result was a draw. The second match was the boys playing Aghatubrid, the boys pulled through and won.

After a short rest the girls went to play Valentia. Valentia were a very strong team and beat the girls by a few points. When the boys went to play Valentia, they had no mercy and hammered them. After Valentia beating the girls they kept their heads up and beat Ballinskelligs/The Glen. During the game the boys headed out and played Ballinskelligs/the Glen and the boys once again beat Ballinskelligs/the Glen. Then the boys were able to go to Cahersiveen pitch and play the Cahersiveen team. After a hard game vs Cahersiveen the boys unfortunately lost. We were all happy on the way back to school that we got the opportunity to play all those amazing teams.
